What is the relevance of Climate
Climate will dictate the types of plants you can successfully grow in your
district.
Living in a Mediterranean climate like Adelaide will not be good for
plants from Tropical areas if placed in your landscaped garden.
It is also important to note that there are many variations in the one
state, such as the climate in Sydney is significantly different to that at
the Blue Mountains or that at Ballina.
By knowing the rainfall, humidity and temperature features of your local
area they will enhance your success in gardening and landscaping.
Understanding what grows well in your district will save you money from
buying inappropriate plants from local garden centres.

this map is great if you want to grow things. This Köppen
classification scheme focuses on climate of each region based on
temperature and rainfall, as indicated by the native vegetation.
